DOODLE WHILE YOU WORK


My blog rant (introduction)



One of the most raved about uses of an iPad is the ability to mark up images and resend them with your edits. Or the ability to quickly sketch an idea or a picture. It takes a little practice, but in the long run, it's worth knowing how to. The concept of doing this on the fly is called Visual Recording or Visual Facilitating depending on whether or not your are the audience or the presenter. There is a market out there for people who can do this well.

THE CONCEPT


Instead of writing a report, I want you to create a series of Visual Recording or VRs of your research into the topic of the Cloud and the Web 2.0 and 3.0. You are going to download a few free APPs and create a your VRs to explain CLOUD COMPUTING, then you will put them together in an Explain Everything presentation.

THE ASSIGNMENT


STEP ONE:
WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING, The WEB 2.0? What is the Web 3.0?
Research this concept knows as THE CLOUD, Web 2.0, Web 3.0.
You MUST BE able to explain these concepts using many well designed slides.
    • DEFINE a) The Cloud b) Web 2.0 c) Web 3.0
    • EXPLAIN how they work, and significant facts or ideas about them
    • GIVE EXAMPLES give us examples of software or apps or computer companies, etc who have forwarded the idea of these things


STEP TWO:
DOODLE YOUR SLIDES
First of all. You have to use a variety of DOODLE SLIDE makers. Some of these start from a blank canvas, others help you enhance already existing images, or add text and context.

USE OUR DOODLEAPPS WIKI

Download AT LEAST THREE of these or any others for free and use them to build your slides for the enhanced podcast.

YOU may use additional APPs of your choice.

ADD REVIEWS AND NEW APPS TO THE DOODLEAPPS WIKI.
  • For ADDING reviews and new content to the DOODLE APPS, you will get 10 bonus points per review (limit 3).


STEP THREE:
EXPLAIN EVERYTHING
Using your Slides, create an presentation in EXPLAIN EVERYTHING

You must use slides from at least 3 different apps to generate slides
  1. YOUR WEBCAST SHOULD COVER:
      • DEFINE a) The Cloud b) Web 2.0 c) Web 3.0
      • EXPLAIN how they work, and significant facts or ideas about them
      • GIVE EXAMPLES give us examples of software or apps or computer companies, etc who have forwarded the idea of these things
  2. You must include a citations slide(s) for research and images. You may not break copyright laws.

STEP FOUR:
PUBLISH

  1. Publish to your Youtube account and Post on our Facebook Group
  2. Publish on your Blog with a complete reflection (see below)
  3. Publish on your WIKI on the PORTFOLIO PAGE (with a description of the project)
STEP FIVE:

REFLECT

Your blog should include:
  1. a thorough review of the drawing apps that your used, including making the podcast
  2. What did you learn in your research that was most interesting.
  3. Does including a citation page make you more accountable for your information?
